Temperature Screening for Care Homes
Care homes are a place that would certainly benefit from from the use of temperature screening cameras.
We have tested temperature screening systems to see which one is most suitable to be installed into care homes.
We looked for a system that was effective, reliable and requires no user interaction apart from walking past a thermal CCTV camera and having their temperature read.
Our systems are designed to be deployed at entry doors or receptions, a temperature screening camera will detect a visitor with a high temperature, sending an alert to the reception desk or on a selected smart device. High body temperature alerts can also be displayed in real-time on a monitor screen.
We also offer hand-held body temperature screening devices that can be used by staff in care homes. Hand-held screening devices can be placed in a pocket are are great for monitoring body temperatures in multiple locations.
Fever measurement with thermography?
An major indicator for an infection is increased body temperature, compared to other people in the immediate area, This is generally known as a fever.
Thermography is the tested method for scanning not just individuals, but also large flows of people. To do this, the temperature at the inner corner of the eye is measured, and an alarm triggered if the temperature is above the set threshold. This allows persons with increased body temperature to be identified quickly and reliably, and to be isolated.

Body Temperature
